Okay, I didn't try the glove, I used the wet finger technique. But, I ended up with that stuff stuck all over me, I also managed to put my hand down on the grass to balance myself, big mistake, then I had caulk stuck to my hand along with lots of grass and dirt mixed in. I almost never got that stuff off of me! Two days later at work someone at the office says "what is that on your arm" and yes, you know it, I had caulk stuck on my arm that I somehow had missed, and believe me I took showers! \I'm not cauling using the naked finger way again! LOL Maybe there is some MAN TRICK to it that I don't get though!

If your so inclined a smooth coating of vasaline(sp), on the exposed areas such as arms and hands will make cleanup a breeze.

Yea, well, I did learn that about paint AFTER I painted the house. I was scraping paint out of my hair for a week! My next project you're coming to help!

CityGirl,
Maybe we men just salivate/drool more???
Don't know, but the "naked finger" trick is the only way to go (and don't forget mrpat's suggestion of wet towel).
How on earth did you get the "caulk" on your ARM?????

Well, I'm not sure, but since I also managed to get it all over the ladder, I think I got it on the ladder and when I moved the ladder it jumped onto my arm. LOL With me, who knows! I never know how half the things happen!

Yes, caulk, paint, lots of things just "jump" onto you at my house! I swear!! You know, my A/C went out the other day and I called a friend who is a plumber and A/C guy, and when he came he couldnt fix it because I have a Carrier Puron system that he was not familiar with, but he did tell me that I had the worst luck of anybody he knew! He did call another friend. It was the circuit board. Took 4 days to get that bad boy in. It was 105 for heavens sake. Thought I was going to die! But, I managed to live through it. Cost me almost $500 though, but I guess that's cheaper than a new A/C, but the one I have isn't all that old. You should hear about the sewer repair job I did. Now THAT was a disgusting way to save $2,000!!! But, I did it!!!!
