I have decided that my husband and I are going to have to divorce.
He hasn't worked (by his choice) in 2 years. He takes care of our 3yr old and 10m old 2 days a week. I have them one day and on weekends primarily. My dad takes them one day and my mom takes them two days.
I work 3/4 time. He has money through a trust.
Will I still have to pay him alimony?
And because he is home with them 2 days a week does he have a chance at getting primary custody?
Should I be quitting my job before filing so I am home with them as much him?

Help!

>>>>>>>>>> Depends , how long have you been married and how much income does his trust produce ? If it's either a short term marriage or his trust earns enough to make him self-sufficient , alimony is unlikely .

And because he is home with them 2 days a week does he have a chance at getting primary custody?

>>>>>>>>>> Maybe , any chance 50/50 would work ?

>>>>>>>>> Bad idea .
