Is this normal? I had a coffee date with a very nice man. However he talked about his divorce like it happened recently but it's been over nine years. Also he told me that he's gotten good at ending bad relationships. Had another conversation with him last night, same themes. I'm willing to give him a chance, he's very nice, but I'm starting to wonder.
Any thoughts please.

recently someone told me to believe how a guy describes himself. and believe it 100%.
if a guy SAYS 'im bad in relationships' believe him.
if a guy SAYS 'my friends all think im a jerk to my women' (and laughs) believe him.
seems to me this is a fish that needs tossed back into the pond.
but if you want to practice talking to him etc. to get back in the dating game...well so be it!
but i think you shouldnt waste your time.
