I have cusody of my son by court order, his mom has him and is refusing to return him and is in violation of the court order and is hiding him from me and no phone calls either. She will have to deal with that and I don't wish her any ill harm. My main concern right now is his safety. I don't know how all this is going to affect him now and later on in his life. Can any one help in talking me through this difficult time I am having? I miss my son so much. He knows that I love him and will always be here for him.

What you need to do is contact your attorney and tell him/her that your child has been kidnapped by the other parent.
S/he will be able to tell you what you need to do.

I would think it's time to call the police instead of a lawyer.

Since it is a parent, unless the court order is extremely specific with times and return dates, the police may do nothing.
He's going to need to file contempt of court charges.

A call to the police may not hurt and you might be suprised but Jada is right. I wouldn't expect anything from them. Call your lawer. How long has this been going on?

My attorney she knows about it and was in court today and working on what legal actions to take. The police where she is at, are related to her dad and her. I don't know what to do so that I don't mess things up more than they already are. Im so confused on what to do.

Please be more specific and provide more information. From this limited info it sounds like you need a new attorney. parental kidnapping of the child should result in loss of custody.

Keep on top of your lawyer but let your lawyer do what needs to be done. Your son will be fine. He will be back soon.

Keep you thoughts positive, worrying will not help except to make your mind play tricks. When you see your son again be sure to let him know that he has done nothing wrong, the intensity of this situation may be a lot for him so he'll need reassuring and love.

I did get some news today. She has hired a lawyer and the two lawyers have now been in contact with each other. She has until tomorrow to hand him over to me before we will fill kidnapping charges along with several other charges too. I did get to talk to my son tonight and he was doing okay but wants to come home. I am hoping that he will be home tomorrow sometime. Thanks for the prayers and thoughts everyone. My lawyer has spent the last two days working on this and most of today was working on her turning over my son.
