Any information on annulments?

Me and my stbx have been separated for 5 months give or take. Through the course of the separation, I have found out that he had slept with a girl he had been emailing the last three months before our separation as well as found out that he has slept with others after our separation. The other day he told me that he wasn't ready to get married when we did. His mother also told me after we separated, that her son came to her three weeks before we got married and didn't think he could go through with it. I did not know through the course of our engagement that he was feeling this way. We were only married for 1.5 years before he started with the "I want a separation" verbage. He didn't even wear his wedding band during the course of our short marriage. Basically, our whole marriage was a sham. Is there any way that I have grounds for an annulment based on fraud? I would really like the opportunity to marry in the Catholic church again and unfortunately, divorce would not allow this to happen. I got married thinking it was going to be for life and I thought my stbx thought the same thing but he did not. Any opinions or experience of the annulment process would be much appreciated.

A legal annulment won't enable you to marry in the catholic church.

What you need to get married in the Catholic faith is to get a divorce. And then pursue a Catholic annulment. Once you obtain this, you would then be able to get married in the church again. But the marriage that you have now needs to be legally ended first.
