OK we all have one -- so post it!! What is your way of making links to a post divorce non-blue mood? Share things that work long term, and short term.

For me hosting BBQs helped a lot Getting involved in volunteers opportunities. Joining a church Sitting in my hammock and surfing the net on a wireless network (doing this RIGHT NOW)

Hmmmm, I guess mine would be that I was FINALLY able to have a free summer and go camping this year. I love camping and we never could because he raced EVERY damn weekend and of course I was "required" to be there. Now I'm working on buying myself a small camper or pop-up for my son and I!
Oh and being able to eat dinner on tv trays in the living room!!! ;-)

Limiting booze. Especially if you are home alone. Alcohol will really bring out your blues even in small amounts if you are already down.
Eat well. Really focus on fresh fruits and veggies. Limit simple sugars that spike your insulin levels. Swweeten with honey rather than white sugar, limit sweets overall. Eat complex carbs not simple carbs.
Lots of varied exercise. Today was a long mountain bike ride followed by a trip to the driving range.
Get out there with friends and family even if its something your not that interested in, don't spend too much time alone.

Going for a long walk with my dog. Unfortunately for my friends and family, calling a loved one whenever I feel down :)

Spa night at home: Bubble bath, candles, incense, wine, chick flick, massage chair, parafin hand wax, foot spa.
Giving myself permission to do nothing: Reading a book on my porch, watching Top Chef marathons on Bravo, sitting on the fornt stoop people watching.
Long walks with the Ipod to just get lost in my own head.

Holding my daughter really close to my heart. Calling friends and coming here and helping others just starting the divorce process. This seems to help me the most!

Like Julia spending time with my daughter(which I really appreciate now that she has gone to be with her father for the month)Lighting a few vanilla scented candels and reading a trashy book and imagining that at least someone is getting some.
