Divorce Support Forums: Getting divorced, but hit a bump along the way...

So my husband and I are getting a divorce through the state of Mississippi. We have signed all the inital divorce papers and have just been waiting for the 60 day waiting period to expire, so we can go to court and have the divorce finalized. Well last week my lawyer sent me an email stating that my husband and I in order to obtain a court date, we both need to sign an affidavit which basically states that our agreement on child custody hasn't changed and that our son resided with me etc... Well now my husabnd has basically disappeared off the face of the earth and I can't get a hold of him at all. He doesn't answer his cell, email nothing and my lawyer told me we need this affidavit signed in order to obtain a court date. So wha do I do if he doesn;t sign it? Can I still get divorced even though he already signed the divorce papers?? I just don't know what to do and I want to get divorced ASAP I Have been dealing with this for almost 2 years now and just want it to be over.
