DEEP PEACE
Deep Peace
of the running wave to you
Deep Peace
of the flowing air to you
Deep Peace
of the quiet earth to you
Deep Peace
of the shining stars to you
Deep Peace
of the gentle night to you,
moon and stars
pour their healing light on you
Deep Peace to you
— a Gaelic Blessing

I just emailed that to my stbx. God only knows entirely why.

Subject line: With tears and sincerity

Then I bawled - like I haven't for at least 2 weeks.

I guess I'm just saying good-bye.

Tom, that's a nice thought. I feel you today.... Who knows why we do things. I know that I am weak. But I think like you said, you were just saying goodbye. I am balling with you today.

It's refreshing you can say goodbye with such calm and peace. I wanted to say goodbye with a brick to someone's head. You're way better off than I am!! Keep up the good work!

Yes, that is a nice way to say goodbye. I was more for the brick to the head idea myself. Thankfully, I haven't seen him since the day he left (I wouldn't actually run him over with the car, but thinking about it cheers me up sometimes. LOL)

Who said anything about calm?

I like the brick idea, too. I'm no saint.

*I* didn't send that message. I didn't even want to send it. Sure, my hand moved the mouse and clicked "send" but it wasn't my idea.

Like most people here I'm still broken. Peace and calm are not mine - although it's just barely possible to wish them for that someone else.

It won't bring her back, but maybe something will come of it.

It's a lot easier to wish peace for everyone here, which is what I'm doing.

Tom

Here's your brick germangirl. This worked for me.

Sometimes I need what only you can provide: your absence.
