"Women are paid 77 cents for every dollar a man makes"
Shame on you, Mr Obama!
I mentioned this before and I'll say it again, if a presidential candidate needs to push a feminist lie (or even a half-truth) in order to get elected, I seriously question his leadership IF he becomes president. Don't get me wrong, while I applaud McCain's not voting for the "equal pay" bill, he has his own skeletons.
=========================================================== I just wish Ron Paul was still running ... ===========================================================
There is no reason that thinking people cannot write-in Ron Paul's name when they vote. While he may not get elected, if he gets a significant vote this should have some influence on the policies of the winner.
What we have in the coming presidential election is a choice between "The evil of two lessors". Personally, after what this country has been through, if I could not have Ron Paul I would rather have Brian Holland than any of the remaining demagoguic, greedy fools!
Unfortunately, most states have laws regarding write-in candidates, which would not only make Ron Paul's bid for presidency improbable, but more likely impossible. For instance, I heard that one state (North Carolina?) requires the potential candidate to file paperwork to be allowed to be a write-in several months before the election, but that date has already passed.
