Hi Everyone, I'm so tired of arguing and feeling like I'm on an emotional roller coaster. I was married 5 years ago to the most beautiful woman in the world. She still is! But we just cannot see eye to eye. Unfortunately our children are involved and it hurts to see my family fall apart day after day. We don't deserve this! No one does! I've decided to be the bigger one and end the madness. I found a company to help me do my divorce independently. I wanted to know if any of you have tried doing it that way? My friend referred me to them and it seems like everything's going well. I have faith in knowing that my friend was able to get his divorce taken care of for less than $1000 with them. Let me know your views on doing your divorce without a lawyer. I feel if you both agree, there shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for listening.

Be carefull, they can be sneaky in some of the b.s. wording that is used. Can you maybe do it that route but have a 3rd party (lawyer of your0 own review it? Expectially having children involved, just dont what ya to get screwed in the end or the ability for someone to change their mind shortly after and have to go through something all over again...

You should be careful because unfortunately there are a lot of people who will take advantage of you during these emotional times. Be sure to fully check out the company, despite your friends recommendation, just to be safe.
Find a company, like the one below, that will guarantee the filing of the divorce, otherwise you get a refund. That way you can be rest assured that its done correctly.
I suppose there are some companies that may not word things correctly, however it is your responsibility to read EVERYTHING and get everything clearly explained to you before you sign....but again, not all companies are shady like that. Do your research just to be safe.

Divorce is no joke but I do agree with the rest of posters. Be very very careful. I am also in the final stages of my divorce and my spouse and I are going through the do it yourself service. It has really opened my eyes to a world of savings and time and energy. Research, research research. Best advice ever.

Good for you Recordroller! I recently finalized my divorce and did it all on my own. Well of course with the help of coincidentally the same service one of your responders recommended. Document-do-it-yourself-service. Yes there are scams out there, people just preying on you to take your money. But just like there are good and bad people in this world, there are good and bad companies as well. My brother used this service and so did I, both with successful outcomes. It doesn't even matter if you and your spouse live in different states, or have kids, or property, or what if you don't even know where your spouse is? You can STILL use the do it yourself service. Keep an open mind. Save yourself the time and money it takes to get a divorce with a lawyer. Why? Best of Luck!

Derrick
