help with postponing a hearing

Hello can anyone provide me with a sample of how to write a motion to postpone a hearing? I finally found out that I can have a pro bono lawyer represent me in my case but I need to postpone a hearing I have in early November so they will have time for a lawyer to represent me. thanks in advance to anyone that can help me.

Just write a buisness letter with your case # and ask for a postponment. Address in the letter you would like to have representation and thus that's why you want it postponed.
