Children and relocation

My ex wants to move the kids to Ky. she has made all the arrangements but waited until the very end to let me know (by phone) and has not notified the courts in her county nor the child support enforcement agency. I requested that she put everything in writing but as of yet have not seen anything.....what do I do?

You need an attorney immediately. Your ex is free to move anywhere, but the children will stay within the state.

YOU EX WIFE CAN MOVE OUT OF STATE BUT THE WAY I HAVE HAD IT EXPLAIN TO ME IS SHE HAS TO NOTIFY THE COURTS AN GET PROMISE TO DO SO, NOW I COULD BE WRONG. THE WAY MY CUSTODY PAPER ARE SET UP IS IF I MOVE 200 MILES FROM MY EX WIFE THEN THE CUSTODY ARRANGEMENT CHANGES TO THE LONG DISTANCE CUSTODY. EACH COUNTY HAS GUIDELINES SET UP FOR THAT.
