Does anyone know if in the state of MS you can file for divorce when you are pregnant? My husband says that you can not, and I don't know if he is just using this aginst me. Any info would be great.
I know that in a few states, a pending divorce will not be granted until after the baby is born. I don't think there are any states that wound not allow you to file if you're pregnant.
Filing is almost a more important step than the final signoff. Filing indicates your intention to divorce and restricts both of you from doing monkeybusiness with the finances.
In the state of Mississippi u can not be deemed a divorce if the wife is expecting. Only after the child is born and paternity is determined, weither you and ur spoce has been seperated or not, can you get a divorce.
