when I married I had two homes, about 50K in 401K and IRA's, 25K cash. My spouse essentially only had s small inheritance. Now he is saying he gets half??? that can't be fair. I have less now than when I married.

Not sure about Montana but what you had before you were married is yours, in Oregon.
