Can anyone please tell me how child support is handled when one child is living with the mother and the other child lives with the Father? Father is self employed and makes 3x's amount than the mother does. Mother only works for health insurance for family.Does it go by who has the better income or since the living arrangements are as such, would it just be even?
Lane, I would think that it would be considered even. If you and her can agree on that and how the whole visitation process will work. If you are rotating the children between each other at the same time the siblings will never have time to be together. Also tax deductions are a must to decide on( in writing I recommend). Possibly you claim one she claims one. Keep posting.
