I filed for divorce in January due to my wife and I constantly arguing in front of our children.
She had numerous online boyfriends that she met with regularly and a prescription drug habit that kept her up for days on end even while the primary caregiver of our children.
She left soon after with our car leaving me with our children and a broken car. I found where she was (a hotel in another city). When I confronted her at her stay in the hotel, I was served with cpo paperwork the next day claiming I physically abuse her.

Due to her leaving I got temp custody and the residence. She followed through on standard visitation but was always late. She took them once and didn't return them for days, not returning calls or texts.

I got csb involved because I was absolutly crazy not knowing where they were. They came to my house and with the things I showed them of her, she got supervised visitation at the next hearing.

She went two months without contacting the children or me. When the c/s order came through she got an attorney. She continues to lie about actions I have done, some very incriminating, even asking one of our children if I molested him and since I was molested that I was a high risk for that. (yea what the f''k)

She has followed me home, harassed me, called me, threatened me etc. I just continue on trying to raise our children as good as possible. She is participating in the visitation now, but it's very unpredictable if she'll be on time or even show. She still continuously gives false info to her attorney about me, but claims I'm a "good father" to the courts.

I have gone to the prosecuter on my attorney's advice and got laughed out of there. I have so many police reports of her harassment but they do nothing. She stoled things from me when ordered to pick her stuff up, one being a shirt from my uncle who is terminally ill (just to spite me I assume) I've tried to make ammends with her, let her visit the boys once at our house with me there, even at one time we would talk about our children and would call eachother etc. (only involving our children)

She threw it all back at me and told the prosecuter she wanted charges pressed due to the cpo, which they did and I now have to go to court. I have much documentation showing she's called me, harassed etc. Her latest tactic was to send all of my witnesses letters claiming her innocence and how abusive I was to her among many other slander bits of information.

But my question: I know police don't like to get involved in domestic issues. But it seems since I'm a male, they do nothing to prevent it or help me with anything. My attorney keeps saying it will all come out in the end? I don't know about that. Do you have any suggestions? know of any type of help or if the police should have persued the complaints I've made on her. Thank you so much sorry so lengthy

I'm sorry, but I did not read your entire string, but I will tell you that my atty advised me to contact my local police dept to let them know we were having marital issues and that I wanted them to become very familiar w/ where we live "just in case"...doing this may help you set some precedent. Good luck.

P.S. We moved from Summit County (Twinsburg) 7 yrs ago, and we loved living in Summit.
