I have had some very hard times as of late, Lawyers child support, rent, renters insurance, Debt from my stbx "dead" business, and the list goes on. My options are to declare bankruptcy and wait for her to "cash me out" however all the bills are still jointly on our credit. Im crushed and trying to make a life for my kids, but at every turn, she wants more from me. i didnt ask for this.....And it will hurt all of us. Thanks for your time.
Tom

Things look bleak right now mostly because of the unknowing. Once you get back into a routine life will go on.

IF you file bankruptcy you can only file on bills you owe. You cannot file against your wife. I am telling you this because if you file bankruptcy to save 200 dollars a month it is not worth it.

Make sure you have good copies of what she owes and what you owe sometimes you can get more of a percentage if the house sells. If you are paying for the house now, see if you can get credited for that, but you do have 3 kids and that will not be cheap especially here.

Good luck,

Mike
