I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how much it costs to file for legal separation, including notary public and court fees. Thanks in advance. :)
I'll answer my own question, in case anyone else is wondering. :) Turns out it was only $5. I used the notary at the county clerk's office where i filed, so that part was free. They told me the divorce will cost about $330. I don't want to wait a year (for the divorce), but it's just easier than fighting with my ex about it. (We each had grounds we could use, but he wouldn't agree with me about anything except for the separation.)
