the mother of my husbands son (they were never married and she is sole custodian) told my husband she wants to send the kid to private school and she wants help with tuition. is there any tennessee child support law that says the non custodial parent must pay tuition in addition to regular child support?
Under the new child support guidelines this could actually be determined in the child support as a deviation to the regular formula that they now use. If she does this he may need to seek legal advice.
