What started out as a peaceful separation has now become a nasty battle. We have two young girls (oldest is 3 yr). My ex has apparently gotten a "shark" for a lawyer and I'm looking for someone just as good to fight for me. My children are my #1 priority. Cant help with northern VA, sorry. Make sure you ask around and check referances. I dont think your area is as bad as mine. Even though, you should really watch going to court. Do everything you can to settle out of court. Remember it's called "mommie court" for a reason! Good luck and post on the boards often with any questions. There are alot here that have been through the ringer and know the ropes.
