My husband and I have been separated for well over a year. The lawyer's office has had all of the necessary paperwork to file our divorce for over 2 months now, but they have not produced any documents for us to sign. I have been seeing someone else, and my husband knows this. I am now pregnant with my boyfriend's child. Yes, this is embarrassing, and I feel trashy - but I really am a decent human being. I guess I need to contact the lawyer's office and let them know this? What will this do to our divorce becoming final? Any advice?
If u live in the state of Mississippi, state law is (if a woman is or becomes pregnant while married , weither seperated or not, will not be granted a divorce until after the baby is born and paternity is determined.) This sucks, I know. Don't let it get u down.
