I'm extremely frustrated because of the residency requirements as prerequisite for a legal separation or divorce. My husband was in the military so we never stayed in one place for too long. He was discharged in April and we had just rented an apartment in hartford when he decided he wasn't going to be with me anymore. Now it seems like I have to stay married to him until I fulfill the residency requirement which I think is ridiculous. Are there any ways around this requirement?
