I have been married a little over two years and my wife cheated about a year ago. we made it past that and things were great untill about a week ago when she moved out and said she wanted a divorse. what rights do i have as far as the house. we have no assets in dispute but she wants to split the profits on the sale of the home. also do i have to grant a divorse since she was an probably is now unfaithful

Talk to your lawyer, but Tennessee is a 50/50 state. I have to give my ex husband half of the equity in the house...regardless.

If you guys cannot work it out, a judge will work it out for you.

And I guess you can drag it out as long as you like, by not signing the marital dissolution, etc...but eventually it'll happen anyway.
