Hello All, Its a relief to find a forum to post a question to or just be able to read that other women are going through the same thing that I am and they're surviving it also. I have a question regarding medical coverage that I am providing for my ex-husband. As part of the divorce agreement I am to keep him on my medical coverage and he is obligated to pay me what it costs me to provide the coverage for him through my employer. The divorce was granted on April 19 and so far he hasn't made any attempt to compensate me for his share of the benefits. I sent a letter to his attorney with a copy of his benefits statement, and also sent his medical and dental cards for the attorney to forward to him. I asked the attorney to please contact me with a payment arrangement for my ex. I cannot do this through my ex directly as there is a no contact order against him and he has a domestic violence conviction. What I need to know is if he doesn't pay for the benefits how can I drop him from the coverage? I want to do this in a totally legal manner so that it can't come back to haunt me in the future. I supported him financially for over 5 years while we were married and I'm pretty resentful of the fact that I'm still paying. Its been almost two weeks and I have heard no word from his attorney regarding the letter I sent. I'm not sure what my next move should be. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
