Is Response required to file Consent Decree

I filed the Petition and had the wife sign the acceptance of service. We are in total agreement and we intend to file a consent decree after the 64 days waiting period. Does the wife still file the response? The superior court implies this is not needed. She just needs to pay the fee along with submitting the consent decree. Is this correct?
