Unlike child support, spousal support is often very difficult (if not impossible) to modify after the divorce is final, so getting it right the first time is a must!

Who is providing the insurance? Usually it is a credit to the person providing it. Meaning that if the ncp is providing it, the child support is reduced a little. If the CP is providing it, then the child support is increased a little.
If both are providing it, it may not have an effect at all. But with 2 insurance plans, there usually isn't a co-pay and less out of pocket expenses.
As for the alimony being determined after child support, I would check with a lawyer. Because that isn't always the case.
