I assume corporation. If military, everything changes. If you want this divorce, then just hire a lawyer online, you may be able to manage all the dealings online and all the hearings by phone. It's a rare lawyer who can manage this, but there are a few out there. Only thing i could envision jeopardizing your job would be if she made some accusations of nastiness... or if you spent so much time suffering over the details that you couldn't be effective in your work (the reason the soldiers & sailors act can prevent an active duty military person from having to bother to answer anything like divorce paperwork, we want our military to not have to think about that, at the very least!)
