My lawyer told me an uncontested divorce in Ohio takes 45 days from the day it is filed. we had agreed on everything and I thought it was going to go well until his girlfriend found out how much alimony he has to pay. then he started fighting. It took almost 2 years. I ended up with the same amount. he just wasted a lot of money on lawyers.
