between the adoption subsidy that my ex recieves from the state (Illinois), child support and daycare, my ex makes over $2500.00 monthly take home (more then me and she works to boot), yet she will not send the boys in appropriate clothing (no jackets or shoes in dead winter) just to force me to buy jackets, shoes, clothes, everything. My question is: I saw a case, Newberry vs Newberry, where a father got an offset on child support because of the subsidy. Since my ex is being mean, and telling the boys I will "steal the clothes" can I try and get a modification and get a credit too, I could use that extra money on the boys. Otherwise, I'm dying here, please help!
