I am looking for any information regarding the ability of an attorney to cancel the trial date (9 months into this and so ready to finish) without asking me? Court date "postponed" without my knowledge until after the fact. How can that be okay? I have so much time and money tied into this attorney I cannot afford to get a new one, and I am concerned about his reliability. I have to trust that he knows what he is doing but... this? What recourse do I have?
