In my defense, I worked a very successful career up until 4 years ago (making 75k) at which time my stbx wanted me to quit my career to stay at home with the kids. We both traveled for work and it just wasn't working out. After the first year and a 1/2 my daughter was in first grade and I went back part time. It worked out well, when he wasn't traveling he worked from home. Last year I wanted to go back full time and he did not want that. He liked things the way they were. So with that information, why shouldn't I be entitled to what I am asking for!! If it wasn't for him I would still have a successful career, and wouldn't need what I am asking for to benefit my children and the life they are entitled to!! Just another little tid bit to add. I am not the one that wanted to end this marriage. He and his selfish ways decided he wanted to live alone and not to have to deal with the responsiblities of a house, marriage and children!! He doesn't want to have to answer to anyone!
