Unlike child support, spousal support is often very difficult (if not impossible) to modify after the divorce is final, so getting it right the first time is a must!
Yeah, the child support is also 135% of the guideline. I thought I was being generous but learned the hard way that generosity means nothing.
How much to ask for? Since I cannot pinpoint the exact income, I can only speculate based on the validity of expenses. Or, will the court decide for me? I am doing this myself as I cannot afford a lawyer. Thanks.
