i was never married. i have a 3 yr old. she has physical custody and we have joint legal custody. i took her to court to get visitation a few months back and we got a guardian for our son and a visit plan, but it hasnt been working out well for many reasons. anyway, i think the mom may have been planning to move out of state (probably mass, family there) i'm not certain, but ive heard from people that once she moves out of the state, i cant do anything. is this true? i mean, would the connecticut courts do anything or will it be considered out of their 'jurisdiction'? can i do ANYTHING if this happens?
