It is my understanding that each employee gets a certain number of "segments" of travel a year. I believe that number is 24, which is equivelent to 12 round trip direct nonstop flights per year. They do not accumulate from year to year, so they cannot build up excess segments. I believe that only the employee can fly for free, all other family memebers flying on those passes still have to pay a reduced cost to fly on the flights. I would think that she would not be entitled to those passes.
