Divorce Support Forums: social security and abandoment

we had a business for 19 yrs and worked together. i took no pay. i know i get some, however, my attorney wants an actuary to look and see if i can get some of the money i earned. i am trying to recoup some of the stupidity i did. i have no retirement. he told the court he wants to take ss early. he is allergic to work. that will affect me as less money. i did go to ss office and they told me that i will not get the same as i would have if married i am very confused and court date is coming again. we were married 25 yrs. does anyone know anything about this. also, we built a house on my mom's property that is in my name alone. i did section 10 acres for tax purposes where we built house. started building 2003 and did not finish. he walked out 2006. anyone know about abandoment as i do not want to sell a house that looks like foreclosure condition
