I need help, my fiance is trying to get a divorce and we have tried for almost two years now. His wife was in jail and recenlty came out. He filed for divorce for the third time and we plan to get married soon. I want to know if I have the power of attorney can I go to court for him instead of him because we don't want him to be relocated again because of this divorce then they might move him someone where far after this. He has only two more years but we want to get this over with. Please help. If you have a rude comment then don't comment. Thanks.
Well, it would help if your post made sense. Why on earth would a divorce relocate the guy who is cheating on his wife?
Oh, and to answer your question, sure, go ahead and get power of attorney and go in place of your boyfriend.
I am sure the courts would love to see proof positive of his adultery.
Or you could just step back and let the married man deal with ending his marriage on his own. As his divorce really is none of your business. And it doesn't seem like he is in all that much of a hurry to get divorced.
