My ex and I share 50/50 custody of our 3 kids (pa). Am I supposed to pay her child care expenses (sitter) too? We have been separated for 2 years and not once has this come up. I was responsible for my expenses to get a sitter and she was responsible for her sitter expenses. Now her attorney says that I must pay 65% of the expenses for both parties. I pay her 65% of my check now, 65% of medical expenses and 50% of my check goes to her every week. How am I supposed to SUPPORT the kids when I HAVE THEM?
Plus on top of that, we just settled the financial part of it and she walked away with a lot of money. She has more liquidity than I do!! Doesn't that count for anything. I am venting but I am also frustrated with the system.
