Separated approximately 6 months ago -- divorce still in progress. Have joint legal/physical custody of my 7 yr old son -- extended every other weekend, dinner visits, partial summer/spring break. Moved in with mom when this all went down...but, well it's not exactly where I thought I'd end up at this stage in life. Can't afford an apt for my son and I yet -- tax bill, legal bills, normal bills, child support, etc -- and would like to know what your thoughts are on living with a housemate for a year or two to get back on track. Caveat...STBX is nuts and will likely attempt to cause problems whenever/wherever she can.
