I'm the same way. There has to be some physical attraction but I'm finding that I look at women a little differently than I used to. I'm more willing to give women that I might not have considered my type more of a chance, like my date tonight. Not so much the physical aspect either, but she's into NASCAR and is a smoker. Neither is a big turn on for me so she'd have to be better looking in person than the picture I've seen and/or have a fantastic personality......but it's just a date. Nothing more.
For me, the smoking would probably do her in. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke. No amount of perfume will disguise it with causing another odor problem. Plus, smoker's breath is downright nasty, especially if you don't smoke.

I guess it depends on your definition of 'on the make'. Wanting to ask you out/meet you? I'm not a player by any stretch of the imagination. I just want to meet someone that looks nice and has a personality.

Of course not. That's part of the package. However, the looks got me close enough to smell her.
