This book will focus on the rights each spouse has under certain laws, situations, and circumstances, and how the division of the property will be decided by the court or through negotiation.

while this is NOT a reason "TO" get married, it's a benefit of marriage, especially given all i went thru in my case. If i met someone new and only lived together, and that person had a sucky job with little/no insurance, and they got sick, would i have to pay for their care and hospital bills etc? Legally, doubt it, but morally of course i'd want to. Whereas if she was married to me everything would be free and paid for via my insurance.
just pointing out a reason that a marriage makes sense. I could never have come up with the 12000 last year her meds cost nor all the costs of surgeries throughout the years. I'm confident we are way over the 100K mark on all her health things.
