No, you will get reimbursed. Get a statement from the doctor's office to what you paid. And to what she paid and have them explain where the credits went. If they went to her, then she still has to pay.

It's going to take a while to undo what your ex has done.

My suggestion, since the doctor is willing to work with her on payment plans, only pay your portion from now on.
