Don't look at it as getting ripped off. She is still your daughter and do you want her to remember you as the guy who caused a ruckus over one month of child support? REally, don't you have bigger issues to think about! I feel that if you focus on this you're ripping yourself off...

I would give anything to have a child right now (or at least be married with a child right now...) but now I have to start all over and who knows if I'll ever get to experience motherhood.

I've been told this a bunch, "will it make a difference when you look back 20 years from now?" My guess is no, so drop it, make the check and move on...
