Unlike child support, spousal support is often very difficult (if not impossible) to modify after the divorce is final, so getting it right the first time is a must!
I have been married to my husband for 9 years together for 24 years. This past Feb 08 I found out that my husband has been to a hotel with another woman. After fining out I was in shock, not wanting to separate, now that the shock was warned off, I can not stand the site of him, I try hard to forget everday! Now issue #2 I have not been working for over three years now. I had a little funds save to support the time that I was off work, now those funds is "0". I been leaning on my husband to help me pay my bills, and he will neot pay anything that is for me, Just last night our house telephone got turn off for none payment. My husband make over $100k a year, and will not give me any funds to support my needs, or to payoff bills that I have. We do not have joint accounts. and on stop of that he just received over $200k from the death of his family member, which the funds are not in any kind of trust account. Please advise need help. He does provide for the kids but not his wife
