I recently refinanced my house and included my wife's family's property on the refinance as well. So.. it is now my property, but do not want to lose it for their sake when the divorce goes through. If I were to go through with my divorce would I be able to separate my house from the mortgage... sell it... and then continue to pay off the amount owed on my in-laws property? Confusing situation, but if anybody has an answer it would be much appreciated.
