I am a previous resident of CT...my husband and I had started divorce proceedings there in 2004 but my husband wanted a reconciliation so we tried counseling and I (against my better judgement) agreed to move to IL Sept 2005 (where he had been living due to job relocation) to see if things could work out. Now here I am here all alone with my 2 1/2 year old wanting a divorce and wanting to go back to CT, I don't know where to begin--I was not working for almost a year and just recently got a part time job to try to save up some money, my husband is the bread-winner. I don't know what to do, I know that once I start proceedings he will throw me out (the place is in his name)I don't even know where I should file for divorce. I have no one here for support and have not told any family or friends back home of my situation--I don't want to rely on anyone for financial help. Where do I begin?
