I think a lot of us would disagree...maybe he's actually taking his sons feelings to heart over his own by returning early to make the son happy? Hard to say as we don't know the full story. My 1st ex gave us permission to move 1300 miles away, not because he's a bad father and didn't want to be near his son but because he knew it was best for the child overall and that he wouldn't win the battle. My 2nd ex is a BAD FATHER...physically and mentally abuses the kids, is selfish and puts only his own needs first.
