He threatened to break the door down. Clearly, if that happens, he's out of control and the police need to be called. All she would be doing is letting him know what would happen should he follow through on his threat. Which may be all that she needs to do to stop him from breaking her door down.
He wants to move out, then he needs to get his stuff. She has asked him to. He has refused. Therefore, she has every right to remove it for him. Just like every other spouse does when the other spouse refuses to get their things.
Her calling him and letting him know to pick it up or the garbage collectors will is a courtesy.
BTW, what I have suggested has been suggested by other posters in this forum and perfectly acceptable and legal.
