Unlike child support, spousal support is often very difficult (if not impossible) to modify after the divorce is final, so getting it right the first time is a must!
Went to the lawyer on Friday. He said, he would go for a 60/40 split and alimony till retirment. May or may not get that but you start at the top. Being my husband was all for me quitting my full time job back in 11/2000, making 50k plus benifits and now I work 36 hours for a dr's office with zero benifit. He has fully supported this lifestyle. On the other hand I as a person who would give anything to get that special job, and say I don't need you!! I send resumes out every day. Thank you all for your help and may GOD bless you.
