Divorce Support Forums: ex told 8 year old that I won't let him go...

to visit for a month and that I said he can only see him for a week.
He hasn't called the kids in over 2 weeks and didn't return phone calls this week 'til today. He calls him when he only has a 10 minute break and tells him that I will only allow him to go visit for a week. He never asks to speak to E (she said she hasn't spoken to him for about a month).
This is news to my son about visitation, as I don't discuss this stuff with him and being that there is still no order or even any mediation date, I saw no reason to discuss any specifics anyhow. Of course his dad tells him to ask me why...I stated the truth, "your dad hit you last time and I want to make sure your safe and that it doesn't happen again." He says "good, I don't want that to happen anymore either."

What a butthole my ex is.
He had no reason to state this to J, other than to try and put me on the spot and get J upset at me. It didn't work, but the nerve. He can't call the kids for weeks, he hasn't done what he needs to in order to even get summer visitation yet he's telling J that I won't let him go...ughhh, I want to wring his neck.
