Is having a wife online cheating?

I have been married for 8 years, we have one 2yr old. Recently I was told that he is in love with a woman whom he met on a program called "Second Life". He has never met her in person and she lives over 250 miles from us. I filed for divorce under Marital Misconduct. He disagrees with this as they have not had any physical contact. But he says she is his soulmate. He refuses to leave the house and continues to communicate with her on the computer with me there. Am I wrong to expect him to either leave the home or not communicate with her in our family home. I feel this is cheating, am I totally crazy?
